The Parties acknowledge that this puppy is being placed for adoption and is not being sold as a commercial transaction.
The Adopter understands and agrees that the adoption fee (250€) paid is not a purchase price for the puppy. The fee is intended solely to help offset a portion of the expenses incurred in raising the puppy, including but not limited to: Veterinary examinations, Vaccinations, Deworming, Food and nutrition, General medical care, Daily care and socialization
Payment of the adoption fee does not transfer ownership in the manner of a commercial sale but represents the Adopter’s commitment to responsible adoption.
The Adopter agrees to: Provide the puppy with a safe, clean, and loving home.
Supply adequate food, clean drinking water, and appropriate shelter.
Ensure regular veterinary care and vaccinations.
Provide proper exercise, affection, training, and socialization.
Treat the puppy as a valued family companion at all times.
The Adopter agrees never to neglect, abuse, abandon, or mistreat the puppy.
The Adopter agrees to arrange a complete veterinary health examination within 30 days after the puppy arrives at its new home.
If the examining licensed veterinarian determines that the puppy had a serious health condition that existed before the adoption and provides written medical documentation, the Adopter shall notify the Original Owner immediately.
Where both Parties agree that returning the puppy is the appropriate course of action, the puppy shall be returned to the Original Owner.
The Adopter agrees that the puppy:
Shall not be used for commercial breeding.
Shall not be used to operate or support a puppy mill.
Shall not be exploited for irresponsible breeding practices.
The Original Owner’s intention is that every puppy lives as a loved companion in a responsible home.
If at any time the Adopter becomes unable or unwilling to keep the puppy, the Adopter agrees to contact the Original Owner before rehoming, selling, abandoning, or surrendering the puppy to another person, shelter, rescue organization, or breeder.
The Original Owner shall have the first opportunity to accept the return of the puppy.
The Adopter agrees that the puppy shall not be sold, abandoned, or transferred to another party without first offering its return to the Original Owner.
The Adopter agrees to comply with all applicable animal welfare laws and regulations and to provide humane treatment throughout the puppy’s lifetime.
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties regarding the adoption of the puppy. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.
